Fraser's Fossil
Chris
Bernard
Time and Tide explores the relationship between the beachcomber, and found fossil and stone. Collected from along the Dorset coastline, these natural forms are treasure to the young and curiosities to the old.
This set is arranged in a time line to contrast the changes that occur in our life, with the timeless qualities of these found pieces. While time changes the human frame, the presence, which defines our beauty, remains.
Karen studied photography at Salisbury College of Art and has worked for several years as a freelance landscape photographer. She is at present finishing an MA in Design and Media Art at the University of Westminster, and will exhibit in London later this year.
Fraser’s fossil won an award
in the Agfa Professional Portrait Photographic Competition this year.
